Important Announcement Regarding the Robert Wirch Senate District 22 Recall
Kenosha, WI – The citizens of District 22 are keenly aware that Senator Robert Wirch has been off the job for seven entire days. We say…it is time for him to come back. Chairman Dan Hunt of the Recall Wirch Exploratory Committee says “if Senator Wirch doesn't like his job enough to be in Madison to do it, we will make certain that he stays home permanently”. “This disruptive and unprofessional behavior is detrimental to the recovery of Wisconsin and it needs to end now”, said Hunt.

The major announcement is: Over 250 Senate district residents say move forward!! The recall will become official tomorrow!! That means we have to collect 18,000 signatures from February 24, 2011 until April 25.

The state forms have been filed, the press conference has been held and now is the time to send a strong message! We are already over 300 strong! And all of us banded together can accomplish our goal of 18,000 signatures to let Senator Wirch know he should show up for work just like all of the hard working people he represents.
To help send this message to Senator Wirch we will be having a kick off rally this Saturday February 26, 2011 at the Brat Stop in the Parkway Chateau Building (Entrance B) on Highway 50 in Kenosha (at I94) at 1PM
Come be a part of history.
Volunteers Needed:
For the Rally we need many volunteers:
12 Noon 10 Volunteers to prepare the banquet room (organized mayhem)
12:45 2 Greeters (it helps if you can smile and you actually like people)
4 people for the registration table (Everyone will be required to sign a petition to enter so we need insisters or inbrothers depending on your preference)
4 burly people for security (If you are wondering if you're burly - you aren't)
2 people for the petition table (separate from the registration table but still important)
2 people for the volunteer table (volunteers who volunteer volunteers)

What can we say? That was an awesome rally!! Over 600 people came to our rally today. The energy, the enthusiasm, the atmosphere of a packed room all contributed to an historic event. We are making history because we officially began the process to fire our AWOL Senator. Let's keep the spirit of the rally alive by working hard to fill our petitions with signatures and addresses of our families, friends and neighbors. It was a good day - it will be a better day when we have 18,000 signatures and can finally say to Senator Wirch, "Go ahead and stay in Illinois permanently."

Your SearchWirch balloons are hovering over northern Illinois ready to drop down the moment Senator Wirch is spotted. As you know, attached to them are your messages asking Senator Wirch to come home to do what he was elected to do. The longer this goes on the closer we are to the recall. We don't actually know how we are doing regarding the gathering of signatures except to say that you are AWESOME!! You are doing a fantastic job!! You have shown initiative and been creative, diligent and exceptionally productive. From the reports coming in we are gathering signatures at an incredible rate. We just need to keep the effort up!! We can't let down until we are finished gathering the 18,000 signatures we need to fire Senator Wirch.
What is remarkable about our efforts are some of the stories we have heard. One, from a member of Senator Wirch's family. This person said that there were 89 members of Senator Wirch's family and 57 of them would sign the recall petition. Unbelievable. We are receiving scores of reports of people signing our petitions who voted for Wirch in previous elections but would never do so again. There are many other stories to tell.
Volunteer Opportunity
One of our volunteers needs help. There is opportunity to procure signatures at the corner of 60th Street and Green Bay Road. This is an opportunity for individuals to come by in their cars and sign our petition. We will publicize the event through the media, website and Facebook. The hours are for anytime between 7:30 and sunset. You can volunteer as much or as little time as you wish. there is no limit to the number of people to sign up. (Actually there is.
