Petition Name: Tell WKU: Condoms on Crosses Is Not Art

Description:
Early this morning campus police at Western Kentucky University (WKU) refused to stop vandals from draping condoms on the top of small crosses in the stadium – these crosses, 3,700 of them, symbolize how many unborn children die through abortion each day in the US and were installed by the Hilltoppers for Life group on campus. The vandals were art students who claimed the condoms were part of an art project.
The Hilltoppers for Life group members, who had been keeping an eye on their display through the night in reaction to similar acts of vandalism to pro-life displays at other campuses including nearby Northern Kentucky University, asked the art students to stop and then called campus police.  The students refused and the campus police just stood by and watched.  The police claimed that they, “couldn’t do anything because the condoms aren’t actually vandalization,” even though the crosses are the property of Hilltoppers for Life and they have the administration’s permission for their display.
Claiming art as vandalism is disingenuous and disturbing at best. The desecration of the crosses at WKU is sacrilegious, offensive, and borders on a hate crime. While we have seen vandalism before at other campuses across the nation, it is not uncommon for students to face opposition of this nature but usually the campus police do help out and stop the vandalism rather than hide behind some ‘artistic expression’ excuse.
Take action and express your outrage over the vandalism and desecration of  Western Kentucky University (WKU) Hilltoppers for Life’s cross display by:

1) Adding your name to this petition which will be sent to the WKU Administration.
2) Call or Email WKU Police Captain of Professional Standards at his non-emergency number, 270-745-2543 or joe.harbaugh@wku.edu to express your outrage and demand the university apologize to WKU Hilltoppers for Life and to train the campus police that putting condoms on some one else's crosses is not art or freedom of expression, it is desecration and vandalization.
3) Forward this petition on to friends, so that WKU will get the message loud and clear that condoms on crosses is not art!

Sign The "Protect our Children's Innocence Petition"

Dear Pro-Family American,
The Radical Homosexuals infiltrating the United States Congress have a plan:
Indoctrinate an entire generation of American children with pro-homosexual propaganda and eliminate traditional values from American society.
That’s why I need you to act quickly to protect our nation’s youth.
I’m helping lead the fight to defeat the radical homosexuals but I need your help.
Please join me by taking a public stand AGAINST this outright assault on our nation's youth by signing the Protect our Children's Innocence Petition below!

For the Family,

Eugene Delgaudio
Public Advocate of the U.S.

Protect our Children's Innocence Petition
Whereas:   Schools should be institutions of learning, dedicated to the unbiased and unpoliticized pursuit of knowledge equally for all students; and
Whereas:   The mis-named "Student Non-Discrimination Act" actually DOES discriminate by creating special protected classes of students; and
Whereas:   More accurately-named the "Homosexual Classrooms Act," the "Student Non-Discrimination Act" targets children with homosexual propaganda far over their heads in an attempt to sexually confuse and corrupt; and
Whereas:   Government should have NO AUTHORITY to force the Homosexual Agenda on the American people, much less their children;
Therefore:  As your constituent and a concerned pro-family voter, I strongly insist you oppose the so-called "Student Non-Discrimination Act," and make every attempt to see it defeated.

Dear Chairmen Lieberman, King, Leahy, Smith, Feinstein and Rogers:

We write to you today in strong opposition to proposed changes to FBI counterterrorism training materials.

We share the concern of many sitting Members of Congress that the ongoing purge of counterterrorism training materials used by the FBI and state and local law enforcement puts our nation at great peril. It is critically important to the safety of our nation and its citizens that our law enforcement officials are permitted to accurately define the threat, and based on that definition, put in place sound policies to protect our nation and its citizens. Law enforcement officials are the front line of counterterrorism, and they must have accurate training materials that cannot be modified at the whim of one or two Members of Congress, or outside consultants whose identities are kept secret from congressional oversight.

Whitewashing of law enforcement counterterrorism materials appears to be an informal implementation of U.N. Resolution 16/18 (the "The Istanbul Process"). This resolution includes language that seeks to bypass the U.S. Constitution by laying the groundwork for criminalizing any action or speech against a religion, using protection against "incitement to violence" as the rationale. The State Department has vowed to aid the Istanbul Process, and this is completely unacceptable. This resolution and the policies it supports are completely prohibited by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and must be rejected by the United States. Political correctness must not trump constitutional rights, nor hamper our country's ability to protect itself by muzzling law enforcement.

We strongly encourage you to hold hearings on this issue and, further, to do all that you can to put an immediate halt to any changes in law enforcement counterterrorism policies before they have been fully vetted through congressional oversight. Your committees share jurisdiction over these matters.

Please know that the American public is becoming more educated about the threats posed to our nation by those who support and/or perform acts of terrorism in the name of political/radical Islam. We are looking to our elected officials to enact sound policies that will protect us, as they swore to do when they took their oaths of office.

Sincerely,
