July 4th is America's birthday. Hurrah! It's the perfect time to pray the Rosary, asking the Blessed Virgin Mary to beg God to send desperately needed spiritual solutions to our nation. For example, recently, there was a tremendous outpouring of Catholic reaction against a very offensive and blasphemous display of Our Lady of Guadalupe in a floral bikini at the Oakland Museum in California. In reparation for this blasphemous display, hundreds of Catholics stood outside the museum in prayerful protest and prayer. But this type of blasphemy is becoming more frequent in our secular world, which shows there's still a lot of work to be done. So please: Pledge to pray the Rosary for America on July 4th See, those who seek to remove God and His holy law from our society fight press on: •    abortion murders innocent unborn babies •    the institution of the family is weakened by impure customs; and •    threatened by the legalization of homosexual "marriage" •    the sexual revolution pervades popular culture especially in television, media, movies and the Internet However, the worst result of this secularist offensive is the rejection of God by which people disdain His wise and loving action and refuse His grace for our country. And without His grace, how can we live? How can our leaders properly govern? From where will they get wisdom and strength to solve our great and complex problems? And besides all these moral problems, how can we maintain our treasured national identity, while adopting a just and balanced solution for the immigration dilemma? How can we solve our need to become self-sufficient in energy? How can we resolve our economic problems? How can we maintain a wise, strong and careful military strategy? The answer is: we can't do any of these things without the friendship of God. For without His grace, life is only disgrace and disaster. And we cannot gain the friendship of God, without the intercession of His Most Holy Mother. Pro-Life and Pro-Family Youth Are Needed at the UN!

Pro-life and pro-family youth and youth groups around the world have an exciting opportunity to make an important contribution to the UN High Level Meeting on Youth coming up in New York in July 25th and 26th.

We are asking all readers of “The Family Watch” to help us spread the word to as many youth as possible.

Youth groups from around the world have submitted statements telling UN Member States what they want governments to do for youth and how to make the world a better place.

Unfortunately, the sexual “rights” activists are up to their usual tricks and have helped youth submit statements calling upon governments to grant sexual rights and abortion rights to children and youth among other things.  They will be claiming, as they always do, that these views represent the majority of youth around the world.

The July conference will be packed with youth delegates sponsored and trained by UN agencies and NGOs such as International Planned Parenthood to lobby for “sexual rights” including abortion on demand, graphic sexuality education for children as young as age ten, special rights for diverse genders, implementation of the radical Yogykarta Principles and a number of other elements that comprise the radical sexual rights agenda.

These carefully groomed youth will falsely claim that they are speaking on behalf of the world’s young people.

We must counteract their efforts and show UN Member States that the majority of the world’s youth want societies built upon strong families and the protection of life.

We invite all youth and/or youth organizations to sign the youth statement submitted to the UN by the Youth for Life and Family Caucus which FWI is supporting.  Click here to read the statement. To sign it, click here.

Those youth and youth groups that sign the statement will also become a member of this caucus, adding to its numbers thereby helping counteract the voices of the radical pro-abortion and anti-family statements submitted by other youth.

The more youth groups and individuals we can get to participate as part of this coalition, the more effectively we can make sure that the outcome document from this conference is positive and reflects the strong support around the world among youth for life and family values.

The input from youth around the world is supposed to be considered by governments in putting together this outcome document.  This is especially critical because it is likely that it will be submitted to the UN General Assembly for consideration.

Family Watch is helping the caucus collect signatures all the way through July 21st.  The signatures will then be submitted to the UN showing the worldwide support for the Youth for Life and Family Caucus statement.

Please help us create a huge outpouring from individual youth (defined by the UN as people between the ages of 15 and 24 years of age) and youth-led groups everywhere to sign the statement in support of life, the family, and family values!

People frequently ask us what they can do to help protect and promote the family and family values.  This is one simple but important thing that everyone can do.

If you are a youth yourself or connected to a youth-led organization please read and sign the coalition’s statement.

OUR REPUBLIC IS OVER if this happens! Even if you hate guns you had better stand up against this Constitution Killer. If this is ratified by Congress, OUR REPUBLIC IS DONE! This will set precedent, and Obama along with Hillary Clinton will be using the Constitution as an example of the foolishness of men of the 18th century and as a, "what not to do", when forming a government. If anything (in this case U.N. treaty/resolution) is ever allowed to be considered superior to the Constitution by the U.S. Government, our form of government is "changed". We will cease to exist as a Republic with the Constitution as our governing force, in other words it will be game over, not check but checkmate. We will in essence have a new, higher law in the land that is not our Constitution. "Hope" for the Progressives and "change" for what was formerly the Republic of the United States of America under the Constitution will have been achieved. This just got personal.

A few weeks ago, the founder of a pro-homosexual group openly went after my child and admitted that my child -- and by extension your son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter -- was the “target demo” of their multi-million dollar homosexual  tolerance campaign.

Here is what happened ...

Like tens of millions of Americans, I was enjoying one of the final weeks of American Idol with my family when we were confronted with a 90-second homosexual “tolerance” ad sponsored by Google. The ad blatantly targeted young people and was designed to show that the homosexual lifestyle “gets better” with age. Even more disturbing, one of those featured called to children saying “Okay little ones, here’s the first thing you need to know.”

The next day in my blog I wrote that I “felt tricked” by Fox and American Idol because the ad was at the very least in the wrong time slot and thus targeted “my 4th grader.” I made the point that bullying for any reason is wrong and that a general anti-bullying campaign would have been a more appropriate focus for such an ad in that time slot. I added that Fox “blew it last night” and “broke trust” with their audience.

The next day, Dan Savage, who created the campaign, posted a blog responding to my blog. In his hate-filled diatribe, Savage unleashed the typical attacks against me, Concerned Women for America, and anyone who opposes his radical homosexual agenda.

Savage called CWA an “officially-designated hate group.” He accused me of raising my child in a “skinner box” in my “basement” because I said my fourth-grader does not yet know about sex. He then called me a “hateful s____.”

Quite frankly, I am accustomed to these types of attacks against myself, CWA, and conservative women in general.

But then it got deeply personal...

Savage launched into a 250-word rant specifically about my child in which he questioned my 10-year-old’s sexuality!

Savage specifically said my child “was always our target demo” and wondered aloud if my child was a homosexual, concluding that if so, my fourth-grader “needs to hear from us.”

So here we have a prominent homosexual activist openly admitting that my child -- and your child or grandchild -- has always been his “target demo.”

<#first_name#>, this campaign isn’t really about stopping gay bullying in school. This is about using the power of prime time television and Google to infiltrate your home and your family and get their message to our sons and daughters, grandsons and granddaughters. 

Savage says the family is the biggest threat while boldly stating his disdain for the American family and heterosexual moms in particular. He uses Google and Fox and American Idol to make sure that my child knows that “the adult world isn’t entirely populated by hateful s___ts like his mother.”

+ + This cannot go unchallenged...

Friend, this personal attack against my family cannot go unchallenged. The founder of a multi-million-dollar ad campaign featured on America’s most popular television show admitted that he is targeting my child, and your child as well! It is our job to tell our children about sex, not theirs!

That’s why, today, I am writing a letter to Google and Fox as well as Disney (which allowed the Woody character from Toy Story to be featured in the ad) demanding that they immediately sever ties with Dan Savage’s “it-gets-better” ad campaign.

I also want to strongly remind Google, Fox and Disney that it is precisely the moms and grandmothers that Dan Savage is attacking who make their websites, TV shows and movies so popular and profitable. If they continue to support direct attacks on the cornerstone of their economic house, there will be ramifications!

+ + Please stand with me against these attacks.

I am inviting concerned moms, grandmothers and likeminded men across this country to co-sign my letter. My staff will collect these letters and distribute them to Google, Fox, American Idol and Disney.
